New Year Impacts Workflow Calendar

 

When the calendar changes to the new year be sure to check Work Schedules for workflow.  This is important especially if the workflow schedule excludes weekends and Holidays.  The Work Schedule calendar does not “carry forward” weekend exclusions or Holidays.

 

Prior to the new calendar year review the Work Schedules, especially the default calendar.  Follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Administration > Workflow Administration > Work Schedules.
  2.            Select a Work Schedule for the List.
  3.           Click Edit.
  4.          To exclude weekends, click “EXCLUDE WORK ON WEEKENDS.”

           5.  Click on dates representing any Holidays.

2.                   6.  Click Save.

3.                   7.   Repeat for any other Work Schedules.

Not updating the Work Schedule could result on tasks have weekend and/or Holiday due dates.
